Research with AI goes wrong when sources aren't tracked, claims aren't weighed, and synthesis is just summarisation. This pack keeps Claude honest: source-aware, uncertainty-explicit, and synthesising rather than paraphrasing.
What you can do with this pack
- Synthesise findings from multiple sources
- Map the research question into sub-questions
- Extract claims and evidence from a paper or report
- Evaluate source quality and bias
- Produce a research-backed briefing doc
Skills in this pack
Research Synthesiser
Synthesise multiple sources into an answer, with claim-level citations. Trigger on 'synthesise these', 'combine these sources', 'what do these papers say', 'synthesis', or when the user has multiple sources and a specific question to answer.
Source Quality Evaluator
Evaluate the quality and bias of a source before trusting it. Trigger on 'evaluate this source', 'is this trustworthy', 'bias check', 'primary vs secondary', or when the user needs to weigh the credibility of a research input.
Research Question Decomposer
Break a broad research question into a tree of answerable sub-questions. Trigger on 'research question', 'break this down', 'sub-questions', 'research plan', or when the user has a fuzzy research goal and needs structure.

FAQ
What is a Claude skill?
A Claude skill is a folder containing a SKILL.md file. It tells Claude when to trigger the skill and how to execute the task. Skills live inside your Claude account once uploaded.
Do these work on Free, Pro and Max plans?
Yes, as long as code execution is enabled. On Team and Enterprise plans, an admin needs to enable skills at the organisation level first.
Can I edit the skills?
Yes — the skills are plain markdown files. Open SKILL.md in any editor and change the description, steps, templates, or output format to match how you work.
Do I need all the skills in the pack?
No. Upload only the ones you'll use. Too many active skills makes Claude less precise about which one to pick.
